This is a Fixed Term Contract position for a Property Legal Counsel to join a nationwide business with offices based in Reading.

Description
The Property Legal Counsel position based in Reading will involve the following tasks:
- Provide direct support to the estates renewals function
- Review Heads of Terms, liaise with the Site Provider's Solicitor to ensure it is similarly instructed and check any site-specific queries
- Prepare draft Code Agreements
- Negotiate the Code Agreement with the Site Provider's Solicitor
- Provide updates to operational teams about how cases are progressing
- Complete Code Agreements in line with internal policies
- Provide additional support to the wider estates team as required
Profile
The successful candidate for the Property Legal Counsel will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Be a qualified solicitor
- Have experience of working in a similar role focusing on commercial property
- Have a strong understanding of code agreements
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to work independently
Job Offer
This is a fixed term contract position for 12 months.
Hybrid working is available- 3 days a week in the office.
