The Role
Based from home you'll be the driving force behind the PR strategy, generating buzz and raising awareness for incredible work. From managing the media presence to producing captivating content, you'll make sure working animals are front and center in the global news agenda. You'll also represent the advocacy efforts, working with various stakeholders to highlight the importance of the cause.
Your responsibilities will include leading the talented Communications and Campaigns team, crafting compelling press releases, and overseeing the creation of publications, films, and digital media. You'll be the brand guardian, ensuring all communications align with the mission and values. Plus, you'll get to collaborate with international partners, manage high-profile relationships, and contribute to impactful campaigns.
We're looking for someone with a proven track record in PR and media relations, knowledge of the media and campaigning environment, including broadcast, print and digital. Ideally you'll have worked in a charity with a professional qualifications and training in communications and/or journalism, and having experience in an international development context would be a bonus!
