Business Development Executive

We are recruiting a Business Development Executive to join a leading PropTech business that offers a game-changing solution for estate agents, helping them sell properties quickly and securely through an innovative online platform.

The Business Development Executive will promote the online auction service and legal packs to estate agents, helping them enhance the services they offer their clients. This is a high-activity, outbound sales role focused on driving new business, generating leads, and developing strong, long-term relationships with estate agents and will suit a self-motivated and dynamic individual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business by generating leads and passing them on to the Sales team for conversion
  • Convert some self-generated leads into instructions and manage ongoing relationships with estate agents
  • Encourage new instructions for auctions from both new and existing estate agents
  • Build referral networks by creating and maintaining relationships with agents
  • Collaborate with the Director of Transaction Optimisation and the sales team to develop strategies for new products and lead generation
  • Leverage social networks and marketing efforts to target different categories of clients
  • Work closely with other teams to generate referrals from a broad internal network
  • Manage the sales pipeline effectively, ensuring client retention and revenue growth
  • Represent the business at industry events as an exhibitor and occasional presenter
  • Develop clients as advocates and referrers to promote ongoing business
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and ensuring a smooth transition

What we are looking for

  • Strong outbound sales experience with a passion for building and nurturing client relationships
  • Excellent communication and telesales skills, with the ability to generate high-quality referrals
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to work alongside cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer success
  • Willingness to attend industry events and represent the business as needed
