We are delighted to be working on behalf of an industry leading national Fire Security business that is rapidly growing and seeking a proactive and motivated professional to join the team. They have a track record of providing fantastic opportunities to candidates throughout the country and are seeking a SHE advisor to join their team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Attend high risk or complex sites to carry out risk assessments and produce RAMS.
  • To complete incident investigations and carry out subsequent actions.
  • Attend acquisitions to carry out SHE assessments and make recommendations to onboard the new company.
  • Carry out annual reviews of SHEQ documentation.
  • Attend customer meetings to support the SHE element of the business.
  • Produce the monthly slides for the operations and board meetings.
  • Responsible for the approval of new and review of existing subcontractors.
  • Monitor the Compliance mailbox ensuring all emails are responded to by the appropriate person in the team.
  • Responsible for first aid and fire warden duties at all locations, liaising with the SHEQ manager and Training dept to ensure all buildings are covered.
  • Arrange and being a part of regular internal reviews of policies and procedures.
  • Keep up to date with changes to standards and guidance, review the impact on the business, ensuring plans are in place to implement within the required timescales.
  • Liaise with SHEQ manager and external outsourced health and safety and compliance specialists to ensure that that the companies policies and procedures meet all health and safety law and requirements and the requirements of our accreditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure available data and reporting functionality is best utilised to communicate relevant quality assurance and SHEQ information through the business.
  • Planning and implementation of SHEQ specific projects.
  • Take a proactive approach to personal development in line with legislation, guidance and operational best practice.
  • To utilise calendar and tasking functions to best manage emails and tasks.
