We are seeking a skilled and proactive Caretaker to manage the day-to-day maintenance and security of the school premises. As a caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:
- ** Carry out general maintenance tasks, including repairs, painting, and basic plumbing/electrical work.
- ** Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the school premises, including classrooms, offices, and outdoor areas.
- ** Conduct regular health and safety inspections to identify potential hazards or maintenance issues.
- ** Monitor and maintain security systems, including alarms and CCTV.
- ** Assist with the setup and take down of equipment for events or activities.
- ** Liaise with external contractors for major repairs or maintenance projects.
Requirements:
- ** Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role, preferably within an educational setting.
- ** Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance work.
- ** Strong organisational and time-management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- ** Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach.
- ** Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, students, and external contractors.
