About the Role:
A reputable secondary school in Lewisham, is seeking an experienced Head PA to provide high-level administrative support to the Headteacher and senior leadership team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a PA role within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive PA support to the Headteacher, managing their diary, scheduling meetings, and coordinating correspondence.
- Handle confidential information with discretion, ensuring that sensitive matters are dealt with appropriately.
- Organise and prepare documentation for meetings, including agendas, minutes, and reports.
- Liaise with staff, parents, governors, and external stakeholders on behalf of the Headteacher.
- Assist with the organisation of school events and key administrative tasks within the school.
- Ensure efficient communication between the Headteacher and other members of the school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience as a PA in a school environment, ideally within a secondary school.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
- High level of discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant administrative software.
