Trainee Mortgage Adviser

£18,000 - £24,000 dependent upon age / experience.
A genuinely exciting position has arisen at a well respected Mortgage Broker based in Nostell, near Wakefield. They are looking to appoint a Trainee Mortgage Adviser.
They have a multi year training program where you will learn all aspects of the Mortgage business culminating with you gaining the industry recognised CeMAP Mortgage Advice qualification and becoming a Mortgage Adviser.
Initially you will work with the administration team, gaining an understanding of the back office systems that support the business. You will be keying in applications making sure all necessary documentation is completed with a high degree of accuracy. Routine liaison with lenders, insurance companies and clients alike, ensuring that the Mortgage or Insurance policies are case managed from the initial application through to completion. You will be working closely with the Mortgage Advisers and the Director on a daily basis.
You will then move towards Paraplanning and product research supporting the Mortgage Advisers on more complex cases, developing a deeper knowledge of the market and having more contact with the clients.
You will then be put through CeMAP while still working closely with the Advisers and Administration team. Once qualified you will make the transition across to become a Mortgage & Protection Adviser.
It is a 40hr working week, the office is situated in the beautiful surroundings of Nostell Estate. There is free parking and an on site Cafe.
A salary of £18,000 - £24,000 depending upon age / experience is on offer to the successful candidate.
A minimum of 5 GCSE's at grade 4 or above, experience of Microsoft products, a "can do" attitude and a willingness to learn and listen are required.
