Business Development Manager

Duties of the Role
- Engaging with potential new clients and business prospects to promote core services and generate sales opportunities
- Opening via direct marketing, cold call, social media, exhibitions.
- Developing - experience of initial fact-finding meetings (either teams or face-to-face) establishing need for solutions and services.
- Presenting - creating and delivering proposal presentations utilising powerpoint and or word.
- Closing deals and negotiating
- Company solutions cover all areas of IT hardware and services. Experience of Managed Print also highly desirable.
- Logging activities, notes and updating information on the company CRM
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience of IT B2B sales - experience required of all areas of the sales cycle.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- This is a 'hunter' role so looking for candidates showing a keen motivation for new business
- Excellent telephone manner
- Positive 'can-do' attitude with a good sense of humour
Salary
- Basic salary: negotiable depending on experience
- Uncapped commission
