Temp to Perm

gap personnel are recruiting for a Retail Assistant for a temporary to permanent vacancy based in Newton Abbot, Devon. You will be joining a small friendly team, within a local convenience store.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Works in the retail industry, usually on the shop floor of retail stores.
- Reports to the shop manager.
- Is responsible for selling products or services.
- Handles customer questions and complaints.
- Processes sales and accepts stock deliveries.
- Restocks shelves and maintains the sales floor.
- Monitors the activities of people in the shop.
- Resolves customer issues
Requirements from candidate:
- Customer service skills
- Approachable and friendly personality
- Excellent personal presentation and a professional attitude
- Clear communication skills
- The ability to resolve conflicts and deal with difficult customers
Working Hours & Pay Rates:
- Monday to Friday + Sunday, 3 shifts per week
- 3pm – 9pm
- £11.44 per hour
