Spray Painter
Location: Isle of White - Ryde
Salary: £24,000
Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4.45pm and Friday from 8am to 2.45pm
We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a permanent position as a Mast Paint Sprayer with a successful manufacturing company located on the Isle of Wight.
As a Mast Paint Sprayer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing parts and assemblies for painting
- Mixing paint and other materials according to specifications
- Ensuring facility and spray-painting equipment are in good working condition
- Identifying and separating non-conforming parts or materials and reporting them to supervisors
- Utilizing a spray gun to apply paint in conformance with specifications
- Employing heat or oven paint drying techniques for special purpose finishes
- Monitoring machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects/deviations from standards and making necessary adjustments
- Using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning sprayers and power equipment
- Following company requirements to select paint and match colours following specified colour charts
- Handling material and minor maintenance tasks
The ideal candidate for this position will be hardworking, reliable, and detail oriented. While experience in paint spraying is beneficial, full training will be provided. A genuine interest in quality and a willingness to learn are essential qualities we are seeking. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace, is crucial.
