Trade Disposal Specialist Assistant - Preston area
Basic - 22k
OTE - 30k + (£600 - £900 per month)
Mon - Fri - 8.30am - 5.00pm/9.00am - 5.30pm (30 min lunch)
The Job:
The Trade Vehicle Specialist will lead the charge in the disposal of trade vehicles, maximising returns through preferred channels. Your knack for identifying and swiftly resolving vehicle issues will be invaluable as you provide detailed descriptions and captivating photos for our trade vehicles.
You'll be at the heart of the trade and used car targets, attending auctions to stay abreast of market dynamics. Your voice will be heard in management performance reviews, and you'll be a vital support in the group's used car promotions.
The role isn't just about vehicles; it's about ensuring compliance, maintaining trading standards knowledge, and championing a safe and healthy work environment. Confidentiality and upholding the company core values will be your guiding principles.
Your reporting duties involve submitting daily sales reports, while training opportunities will keep you at the forefront of industry advancements. And when it comes to marketing, you'll craft and implement strategies aligned with manufacturer recommendations, ensuring an impactful reach within the allocated budget.

Responsibilities:
- Disposal of trade vehicles through preferred channels maximising the return on those vehicles
- Identifying any problem vehicles and dealing within a timely manner and reporting them to management.
- Producing high quality photos and writing detailed descriptions of trade vehicles.
- Maintain a close understanding of trade and used car targets.
- To attend physical auctions or online auctions to review our vehicles and review their sales process.
- Attend management performance reviews.
- Provide support with group used car promotions as required.
- Ensure you fully comply with all purchase, stock valuing and disposal related policies and procedures as well as any relevant paperwork/administration duties in line with group guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to the company's laid down procedures on establishing vehicle title and payment routines.
- Maintain relevant trading standards knowledge and ensure trade description guidelines are followed at all times and in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment; ensuring adhere with health and safety requirements.
- To ensure that confidentiality is maintained.
- Any other duties commensurate with the position.
