Job Description
Assistant Accountant Key Responsibilities:
- Weekly payroll for a number of operatives
- Credit control, monitoring outsatnding payments and implementing strategies to collect over due invoicies
- Supporting in the preparation of weekly and monthly Management Accounts
- Reconciliations (various including Balance Sheet)
- KPI reporting
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Overhead reporting
- Assist in weekly revenue and cost reporting
- Support internal stakeholders in relation to monthly accounts
- Adhoc duties that may be required
The Successful Applicant
The successful Assistant Accountant:
- AAT Qualified or Part Qualified
- Good technical finance understanding
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical ability
- Someone who want to further their Accounting career
