Key Responsibilities:
- Apply plaster to walls and ceilings to create smooth surfaces.
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, sanding, and applying base coats.
- Mix plaster ingredients to the right consistency and ensure quality application.
- Repair and restore existing plaster surfaces.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project time lines are met.
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a plasterer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Knowledge of different plastering techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Good physical condition and stamina for lifting and standing for extended periods.
