High Voltage Vehicle Regulations Expert

As our next BEV/PHEV Vehicle Regulations Expert, you'll be instrumental in communicating global legislation and industry standard requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring AML has access to global vehicle regulations and that regulatory change is known, understood, communicated and appropriately reacted to by the company to maintain product compliance and market access. Additionally, your role will involve ensuring AML's technical interests are represented within regulatory development and decision-making forums.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be clear in communication, personable, calm under pressure and thorough. Working with a team of experts, you will be responsible for reading legislation and summarising it, maintaining internal trackers, tracking and recording global developments for all applicable vehicle legislation, ensuring all technical aspects and timing of new legislation are understood, managing and communicating future legislation to the business, and providing detailed information on new legislation to L&C engineers.

Functional knowledge is essential in this role, as you will be handling important regulatory matters. You're not the type to shy away from challenges and are motivated by making a real impact at AML. This position offers the chance for you to excel and be seen as an expert in your field.

As a BEV/PHEV Vehicle Regulations Expert you will thrive on relishing the opportunity to work in a great ‘family' team and make a difference at AML. The Key Requirements...

  • Experience in BEV/PHEV vehicle certification, legislation, design or testing
  • Experience in an appropriate technical position within the motor vehicle industry
  • Strong and clear communicator&
  • Competent user of Microsoft office
