The Air Traffic Management and Communication over ATN/IPS (ATMACA) project aims to provide technologies for effective, seamless, interoperable air-to-ground datalink communication and digital flight monitoring and management. ATMACA proposes an IP-based datalink communication protocol and a user-friendly human-machine interface (HMI) to enable interactions with aeronautical applications and services. The ATMACA solution will be validated through real-time simulations and real-time monitoring tests. The consortium consists of a balanced mix of universities and industrial partners. The project has been funded within the framework of the EU's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme via the exploratory research call (HORIZON-SESAR-2023-DES-ER-02).
