Our client, is a highly experienced Freight Forwarder who are seeking an experienced Import Coordinator to join their team in Felixstowe. As an Import Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the business. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of import procedures, understanding of customs declarations and excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks will contribute to the success of their freight forwarding operations.

Responsibilities:
Arranging deliveries and invoicing
Communicate and liaise with overseas agents, carriers, and clients.
Arrange and track shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs declarations.
Resolve any issues or delays.
Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of import records and databases.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and providing status updates.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of import activities.
Candidate Profile
Previous experience Import customs clearance knowledge preferred
Freight forwarding industry knowledge
Must have knowledge of CDS
In-depth knowledge of import procedures, customs regulations, and documentation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and MS Office applications.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
