As the new Financial Controller, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the financial direction of the company, ensuring stability and driving growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Oversee the company's financial management, collaborating with executive management to develop and implement budget strategies aimed at optimising costs and identifying growth opportunities.
- Project Financial Control: Manage complex project finances, ensuring accurate milestone forecasting, monitoring, and timely payments.
- Risk & Compliance: Effectively manage financial risks and ensure compliance with all regulations, maintaining the company's financial health and integrity.
As the new Financial Controller you'll be degree level qualified in accounting, economics, finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA) are preferred but you will need strong knowledge of management accounting principles, budgeting and financial forecasting. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is also essential.
Experience in the defence sector or similar industries, with knowledge of UK MOD contracting processes would be highly beneficial.
