This company are expert in land surveying, being in the business for 30+ years. They have worked on a vast variety of projects within the UK from construction to schools, railways to hospitals and due to expansion they are looking for a land surveyor. Their client base ranges from private clients to government schemes with each job being an exciting project to work on.
In this role, you'll gain valuable experience in both topographical and measured building surveying. You'll be responsible for conducting topographical surveys using advanced equipment like Trimble Robotic Total Stations and GPS. This will involve collecting data on-site and then processing it using Trimble Terramodel software to create accurate representations of the land. You'll work independently on assigned projects while also collaborating effectively as part of a team to ensure successful project completion.
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally hold a relevant qualification in surveying or a built environment discipline. We're looking for someone with 1-2 years' experience in topographical or measured building surveying, or a strong desire to learn and develop these skills. Proficiency in using Trimble Total Stations, GPS, and AutoCAD software is essential. As travel is a key part of the role, you must possess a full UK driving license and be comfortable travelling throughout the South West. Finally, we require a reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
