You'll be working for a well-established specialist company that design & build in-house utilising their team of 18 who have built an excellent reputation in the field already and are renowned for innovation and excellence.
You'll have the opportunity to use your existing skills to design high-performance RF antennas, filters etc for cutting-edge applications that span across a wide range of industries and will by given full autonomy over everything from what design packages to use through to 'buildability' and everything in between. Suffice to say this role will really suit you if you like to design and then build it!
As you'll be working for an already well-established business there will of course already be products developed so another aspect of your role will be optimizing their antenna performance etc using state-of-the-art tools and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver customised products (this could be anything from antennas for UAV's to broadcast).
The main aim of this role will be to keep the business at the forefront of the field by pioneering new antenna solutions and conquering technical challenges.
Given the level of design responsibility you'll be looking at a starting salary of £60,000 - £70,000. Benefits include 24-days holiday + bank holidays, 4% matched pension contribution, discretionary bonus, healthcare scheme, flexible start / finish times, some hybrid home working flexibility (depending mainly on equipment or stage of project being worked on)
