Staff Frontend Engineer

OVERVIEW
We are working with an innovative InsurTech company that is reshaping how commercial insurance is traded. They are looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer to be the first frontend hire, working on greenfield projects to develop their customer-facing platform.
THE INDUSTRY
This company operates within the InsurTech sector, helping businesses find and manage commercial insurance solutions. With rapid growth and a recent successful funding round, they are set to quadruple in size this year. The platform will enable customers to track sales and manage insurance transactions more efficiently.
THE ROLE
As a Frontend Engineer, you will:
- Develop and build a greenfield platform that allows customers to log in and track their insurance sales.
- Work closely with product and design teams to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate with backend and data teams to integrate data visualization features.
- Take full ownership of frontend development, driving the technical direction.
- Assist with backend and infrastructure tasks in a small, agile team as needed.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong expertise in React, Typescript, and NextJS.
- Experience working with Azure (preferred) or other cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Proven ability to build greenfield projects in fast-paced environments.
- Comfortable being the go-to person for frontend development in a small, cross-functional team.
- Experience in fintech/InsurTech or startups is preferred.
SALARY
- Up to £110,000 + benefits
