In partnership with TSP, Althaus Digital are looking for self-motivated, driven individuals with a proven passion for IT Cyber. This is an exciting opportunity to take the first step in your IT career in an evolving and growing industry.

The Role...

You will be part of a warm, friendly, and forward-thinking team responsible for supporting with all things IT Cyber. No day will be the same in what is a fast-paced, exciting new role, with the successful candidates naturally striving to provide great customer service to both external and internal stakeholders. You will be meticulous and patient in your approach; keen to live and breathe company values, and with the ambition and drive to grow and develop.

Initial Training...

Prior to joining the team, you will have the opportunity to enrol in a Level 3 IT Cyber Training course. This training is designed to enhance your foundational IT cyber and Infrastructure skills and prepare you for more advanced technical roles within TSP. The training covers a range of topics including network principles, cloud services, and IT security fundamentals, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the IT landscape. This is a great opportunity to gain recognised skills and further your career development in the IT sector, ensuring you are well-equipped to meet the challenges of a dynamic and evolving industry.

The typical roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Technical- troubleshoot desktop and system problems, diagnose, and solve hardware/software issues.
  • Manage Helpdesk- ensure help desk tickets are logged, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • User Management- administer applications for user accounts.
  • Web- assist customers with technical web-related queries.
  • Types of malware and attacks, password security, Infrastructure (securing networks and hardware/ securing software) , cryptography , security vulnerabilities.

We appreciate you will likely be at the very beginning of your IT career, so provided you're able to confidently demonstrate your interest in the subject, we'll be more focused on your passion for learning/development and natural fit with our core values, rather than being able to evidence a significant degree of pre-existing technical knowledge. You will need to have the right to live and work in the UK, be based within the West Midlands, and be over the age of 19.
