Bilingual Head of Sales
Location: Bedford
Hybrid work with 2 days a week in the office
Salary: between £60,000 and £80,000 depending on experience plus car allowance and bonus

An award-winning British designer and manufacturer of packaging solutions providing innovative products to a variety of industries.
Main duties:
Working within the European territories, using your language skills (bilingual or trilingual in either German /French/ Italian/ Spanish) you will lead and manage the sales team to ensure sales targets are met and exceeded ensuring customers are acquired and provided with outstanding service.
The role:
- Be in charge for the European Territories which include dealing with distributors and end users
- Direct management of key accounts and act at point of escalation if needed
- Develop sales strategies ensuring these are successfully executed
- Be responsible for the growth and expansion of the customer base within Europe identifying prospective new markets
- Understand customer needs building strong relationships presenting products and services as needed
- Be in charge of direct sales for the European Territories
- Increase sales opportunities through proposals and presentations
- Liaise with internal departments and teams to ensuring effective and efficient sales, marketing, service and credit is upheld
- Be responsible for all cost evaluations, budgets, pipeline development and business retention
- Provide detailed sales forecasting and reports to management
- Continuously research and maintain knowledge of products, market trends and competitors
- Ensure policies , terms and conditions are adhered to
- Participate and attend event and tradeshows
- Be responsible for the selection, developing and training team members ensuring regular reviews and feedback are held
The candidate:
- Fluent in one or more: German, French, Italian or Spanish essential
- Trilingual candidates have an advantage
- Degree educated
- Background in the food or packaging sector required
- Experience in Sales working either as a Sales Executive or Sales Manager needed
- Experience in leading or managing a team necessary
- Proven track record of increasing sales and exceeding targets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and present
- Driven , ambitious and motivated
