Maintenance Supervisor

Our client supports jewellers across the country with everything from precious metals to jewellery tools. They are a friendly, well-established but growing business.
Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to provide leadership and supervision to their close-knit maintenance team on a permanent, full-time basis.

What you'll be doing:
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will be taking responsibility for the day-to-day workload of the team.
In this practical role, you will be proactive in all aspects of maintenance activity, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), defect and risk management, breakdowns, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and project engineering work.
You'll ensure planned preventative maintenance tasks are kept up to date as well as identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and drive continuous improvements.
What you'll need to bring to the show:
- Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory or similar role.
- A background in a trade profession.
- A proven track record of managing the maintenance of buildings, machinery and equipment, ideally in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Familiarity with CMMS software and maintenance best practices.
- The ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
- Knowledge of industrial processes such as casting, rolling, annealing and CNC machining.
- Technical skills and knowledge for electrical, mechanical, automation and building services.
- Qualifications in relevant technical field (e.g., engineering, maintenance management).
What our client can offer you in return:
- A salary of £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
