Zest Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join a hardworking team at a school based in Northfield. The successful candidate will provide support to teachers in delivering high-quality education to the students. You will be required to assist across the whole school on a part-time basis (3 days a week). This role can start in November 2024.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting teachers in preparing and delivering lessons
- Supporting students with their learning, including one-on-one and small group sessions
- Monitoring and managing student behaviour in the classroom
- Helping with classroom organisation and preparing materials for lessons
- Providing additional support for students with special educational needs
- Participating in school events and activities as required
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the school day
Requirements:
- A passion for education and a desire to help students succeed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check
