Your new Company
A fantastic world leading supplier of materials with a broad portfolio of products from leading brands with a presence across multiple countries is looking to recruit an ambitious and diligent in-house paralegal for their Bristol office to support and report directly to the Group General Counsel.
Your new role
In your brand-new position as an in-house paralegal, you will be playing a critical role supporting the Group General Counsel with a range of varying tasks, such as: performing legal research, preparing relevant documents, contract management, insurance, risk management along with administrative duties. You will also be expected to be aware of updates and changes in laws, regulations and industry trends, relevant to the company operations. You will be coordinating with external counsel and other legal professionals as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will be required to have a Law Degree or GDL with an accompanying set of strong written and verbal communication skills which can enable you to effectively communicate complex legal concepts. Organisation skills are a must, as this job will require you to juggle multiple competing deadlines simultaneously. Working directly with the General Counsel, you will need to be both confident in your ability to work independently and collaboratively as you will be operating in a dynamic environment.
Having previous experience in an in-house or private practice setting is desirable, but not required, as is a proficiency in legal research tools such as Practical Law. Being bilingual in English and German or another European language is also a strong preference, but not a requirement.
