Your role as Audit Manager
You will lead a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from smaller not-for-profit organisations to large listed companies with turnovers up to £80m. As an Audit Manager, you will be expected to:
- Manage your client portfolio, overseeing audits, accounts preparation, and tax compliance
- Delegate tasks to junior team members and review their work for final submission to the RI
- Build strong relationships with existing and new clients, taking a proactive role in business development
- Assist with interviewing new team members and contributing to marketing efforts
- Meet with clients to pitch and tender for new work
What you'll need to succeed as Audit Manager
We're looking for someone with the right mix of skills and attitude to lead a team and manage client relationships:
- ACA, ICAS, CA, or ACCA qualified (minimum requirement)
- Proven ability to manage a client portfolio
- Strong people management skills
- Exceptional time management and multi-tasking abilities
- A commercially focused approach to client development
- Experience with audit software (such as Caseware) and Microsoft Office
