My NHS client is looking to recruit a Senior Head of Sourcing into their healthcare team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Category Director, the role will manage the sourcing team across the healthcare category and will be responsible for providing direction and leadership to the Sourcing team and ensuring the sourcing is a value-adding activity through the development and execution of excellent Sourcing Strategies for each project.
Day to day you will be responsible for the development and delivery of individual Sourcing Strategies to best address the challenges of individual Commercial Strategies, delivering excellent customer service, best value for money whilst taking accountability for the input into procurement project delivery, informing on potential sourcing approaches, ensuring that the project reflects appropriate potential sourcing approaches.
you will need to be a skilled negotiator and have previous experience working at a senior level, ideally within an NHS and Healthcare category setting. You will also need to provide evidence of developing complex sourcing strategies, business plans and programmes delivering significant customer value.
The role requires circa 2 days a month in London and offers a salary range of £78,163 to £88,884.
