They have a new development opportunity for a fixed-term, full-time Data Analyst.
The main purpose of the role is to gather and scrutinise information and data to provide insight into the need and demand for safe accommodation and community services across the region. To attend some performance monitoring meetings with the Regional Manager. To analyse information, identifying trends and patterns to help inform decision-making about future services and funding. To provide internal support to colleagues to implement and refine data collection and reporting processes. To ensure that data is recorded, stored, and used in accordance with the policies and procedures of the organisation.

You will be required to analyse a range of data to inform and improve service commissioning and delivery and to provide high-quality reports to support the SLT team based in York.

There is also an element of producing reports to external stakeholders and, on occasion, presenting these in a range of forums.
The successful candidate will need experience of data analysis, Excel and strong communication skills.
The role requires flexibility, a commitment to the clients' values and an understanding of the impact of what they do.
Location: York with travel required to other office locations in Yorkshire.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures including data analysis
  • Technical expertise regarding data models and case management systems
  • A solution focussed attitude to overcoming obstacles and the ability to support others to apply the same principles.
  • Ability to provide comprehensive and detailed reports
  • Good knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to make decisions based on evidence-based judgement
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent reasoning skills
  • Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures.
