Our client is a rapidly growing mortgage provider who offers bridging facilities across the UK. Although being a new company to the market they have major plans for growth across the next 10 years and are looking to expand their underwriting team with an experienced candidate who wants to join a growing UK business with capital to expand in line with their strategic mid and long term goals. This is a remote hybrid role requiring you only once a fortnight in the office based close to Birmingham.
Are you an experienced property Underwriter? Are you looking for a varied and fast paced role, with scope to grow with an expanding business? You will work as part of a small Underwriting team, assuming responsibility for Buy To Let / BTL lending decisions as they seek to grow their portfolio safely and sustainably. Once you have your feet firmly under the table, you will be supporting the launch of their new lending products as they come to market. You will advise the project team and take steps to ensure they have fit for purpose systems and processes ready to serve customers. You will take the lead in system testing and use your knowledge and experience to help them create the best customer experience possible.
Essential Skills and qualifications
- Experienced UK Property Underwriter - Minimum 3 mortgages underwriting in either Residential / BTL, Bridging and/or Home Purchase Plan Underwriting.
- Knowledge of one of the following Buy to Let, Residential and/or Bridging Finance preferable.
- Customer advocate with a flexible attitude.
- Ideally you will be able to start within the next 4 - 8 weeks
