Senior Network Engineers

The Senior Network Engineer will play a critical role in developing, designing, configuring, and implementing detailed network engineering strategies and solutions. This role ensures our network infrastructure meets and exceeds capability, flexibility, scalability, performance, and reliability objectives for a variety of large-scale projects. You will provide technical leadership, ensuring the successful execution and seamless transition of network solutions into the production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Network Design & Architecture: Lead the design, architecture, management, and deployment of new and existing routing and switching within campus and data center networks.
Execution & Implementation: Ensure proper execution of network changes and updates in compliance with corporate security policies to meet business requirements.
Performance & Security Monitoring: Monitor network performance and security, and troubleshoot network-related issues efficiently.
Capacity Planning: Research, recommend, and establish innovative solutions for capacity planning that scale with business growth.
Automation: Introduce automation for daily routine administrative tasks where possible.
Collaboration & Documentation: Collaborate with IT disciplines and maintain up-to-date documentation.
Incident Management: Act as an escalation resource during major incidents and outages as needed.
Problem Resolution: Perform problem diagnosis, initiate problem resolution, and provide ongoing lifecycle support for network deployments and upgrades.
Project Scoping: Collaborate with team members to ensure project scoping activities align with architectural objectives.
Process Improvement: Participate in refining processes, policies, and best practices to ensure optimal performance and availability of technologies.
Knowledge Development: Continuously develop specialized knowledge and technical subject matter expertise by staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Extensive relevant networking experience with a strong background in network design and engineering.
Skills:
Strong analytical and customer service abilities.
Excellent communication skills to articulate technical information across various organizational levels.
Strong thought leadership and innovative problem-solving abilities.
Ability to coach and mentor experienced network engineering staff.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Cisco Platforms: Experience with routing and switching (ISR/ASR/Nexus/Catalyst), wireless, ACI, Meraki, SDWAN, ISE Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure).
Automation & Scripting: Experience with network automation and scripting.
Network Monitoring: Proficient in network monitoring, NetFlow, and capacity management.
Packet Analysis: Experience with packet brokers (Gigamon), packet capture and analysis (Gigastor, Opnet, Wireshark).
Firewalls: Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint).
F5: Knowledge of F5 Big IP, LTM, GTM, ASM, AFM.
Infoblox: Experience with DNS, DHCP, NTP
