Central Employment are delighted to be working with a leading digital consultancy, a trusted partner to a number of eCommerce brands. They are now seeking an SEO Lead, joining their in-house Marketing team.

SEO Lead:

As a SEO Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive SEO strategies to improve clients visibility, drive organic traffic, and enhance overall search engine rankings. This role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to optimise website content, analyse performance metrics, and stay updated on search engine algorithms and best practices.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings for our retailers.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value target keywords and optimise website content accordingly.
  • Perform on-page and off-page optimisation, including technical SEO, link building, and content strategy.
  • Monitor and analyse website performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and our SEO software.
  • Generate monthly reports on SEO performance, trends, and insights to inform decision-making and strategy refinement for clients.
  • Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and other marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website design and content creation processes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging SEO technologies, and implement strategies to adapt to changes.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and maintain a competitive edge in search engine rankings.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in SEO, sharing knowledge and insights with team members as appropriate.
  • Continuously optimise website content, structure, and technical elements to enhance user experience and search engine visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field – although this is not essential, and we will consider candidates with relevant experience.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective SEO strategies that drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a bonus, but not a requirement.
