Job Title: Assistive Technology Officer

Location: Doncaster Borough

Role Overview: Join our dedicated team as an Assistive Technology Officer, ensuring that our most vulnerable residents have access to the Home Alarm Service. Your role will be crucial in helping clients remain safely at home through the use of various assistive technology equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Work flexibly on a rota basis to ensure 24/7 service operation, including bank holidays. Adhere to safeguarding, moving and handling, health and safety, and customer care principles. Provide emergency response following telecare alarm activations to assess and act on the customer's status. Independently install, test, maintain, and disconnect assistive technology equipment in customer homes. Liaise with emergency services when necessary. Essential Skills and Knowledge:

Experience working with adults in a health and social care environment. Understanding of multi-disciplinary working and the physical, social, and emotional needs of service users. Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to write clear daily reports, assess risks, and evaluate individual abilities. Knowledge of Dementia, Safeguarding Adults, and Health and Safety. Valid driving licence required, as travel around the borough is essential. Fluent in English, with the ability to converse easily with customers and provide accurate advice and guidance.
