Job Description:
The position of Semi-Senior Accountant within this business is instrumental in bolstering their small yet dynamic department. In this role, you will assume a pivotal function in facilitating the preparation of financial statements, the management of general ledger entries, and providing indispensable support to their client's financial operations including tax advice and statutory accounts to FRS 102, 102a and 105 standards.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboratively contributing to the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Commitment to adhering to accounting principles
- Assisting in the comprehensive preparation of tax returns and the production of highly informative financial reports.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for our clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns related to all aspects of their accounting needs.
Requirements:
- A documented track record of proven experience in public practice.
- An understanding of the multifaceted world of accounting principles and practices, coupled with a demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
- Proficiency in the utilisation of accounting software, with a strong preference for those well-versed in platforms such as Xero.
- Part-qualified ACCA or AAT (or alternatively, AAT Qualified), thereby showcasing their commitment to ongoing professional development and their capacity to excel in this role.
