Role: Social Sciences Teacher
Location: Northampton
Start Date: January 2025 or earlier
Salary: £32,000 - £45,000
We are currently working with a secondary school around the Northampton area, supporting them recruit a Social Sciences Teacher to start either now or from January. The school are looking for someone to teach Sociology, Psychology and Criminology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and effective lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potential.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing ideas and contributing to the school's innovative curriculum.
- Participate in professional development and mentoring sessions, actively engaging in feedback to grow as an educator.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students succeed.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make learning enjoyable and accessible.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
