Exciting opportunity for an experienced private Chef to join a strong household team working for our UHNW client. The family already employs a Head Chef who travels with them extensively and a team of chefs so you will be working alongside them as well as working independently when covering each other's days off, so this role calls for someone confident running a kitchen. The family has several properties worldwide. Up to 6 months of the year would be UK based with the remaining time spent travelling with the family and team, so you should be very flexible and adaptable to travel for weeks or months at a time.
The role typically involves cooking lunch and dinner for 8 family members (but with flexibility to cater for guests and dinner parties). In terms of cuisine, the Principal is particularly fond of Japanese cuisine, they eat a lot of fish and you will need to be familiar with vegan cuisine, producing light, lean, healthy dishes. Service is family-style with occasional plated meals. Dishes are incredibly high quality in terms of flavour, ingredients, and presentation, so this would suit a top Chef with a Michelin background.
You must have previous relevant experience working in a private household or in a luxury hospitality setting (Michelin* restaurants/5* hotels).
Days: 5 days on/2 days off
Salary: circa £100k gpa
