Mobile Mechanical Service Engineer required for a long-established company based in the Oxfordshire area. You will be joining a highly focused service team, supporting the company's continued success in serving both Domestic, Commercial, Industrial, and Defence customers mainly across the Oxfordshire region.
As a Mobile Mechanical Service Engineer, your key responsibilities include Servicing, repairing, and installing pumps, pumping equipment, filtration, treatment, pipework, and associated equipment, (both Clean water and sewage). Diagnosing problems on site and gathering information to ensure accurate prices/quotes can be raised. There is a need to attend to emergency callouts on the occasional evenings and weekends.
You will be conducting a range of site service visits to customers based in remote areas, rural farmlands, private estates, and MOD settings therefore you will require excellent communication skills to provide exceptional customer service to all parties. The need to complete specific documentation is crucial as this will evidence the completion of all works to the highest of standards.
Reporting to the Service Manager. The ideal candidate will possess proven on-site mechanical and electrical maintenance experience. Your previous employment may include Mechanical engineering, ideally working with pump filtration systems, internal and external pipework, electrical control panels, or similar. We are seeking a candidate with either a time-served mechanical apprenticeship or with mechanical engineering education.
