We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Category Manager to lead procurement strategies and manage key supplier relationships within a rapidly growing organisation. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans
- Lead tendering processes in compliance with Public Contract Regulations 2015
- Drive performance across category-specific contracts and supplier relationships
- Provide expert guidance in public sector procurement
- Support and develop team members for optimal results
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong background in public sector procurement with ideally CIPS membership
- Proven track record in category management and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Experience in managing large-scale procurement projects
- Leadership qualities with potential for future team management
