Posted by Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited.

A Project Manager role based in the West Midlands and operating on a hybrid/remote basis, paying £40k per annum plus excellent benefits, provides an opportunity to join a public sector organisation with a Christian ethos to deliver multiple projects full cycle.

Your new role
As Project Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running and effective planning, monitoring and delivery of projects identified in the strategic framework. You will work with key stakeholders and senior leaders to develop project management to facilitate growth by 2030, with a particular focus on governance strategy. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Change, you will support the development of the project management plan to ensure successful outcomes, whilst also developing the communications and engagement strategy via the assessment of the influences, interests and attitudes of the key stakeholders. You will provide plans and reports, including tracking the delivery of outputs and outcomes of the projects, to senior managers. You will have responsibility for the day to day management of any other projects identified and will monitor the overall progress of these projects, ensuring the delivery to an appropriate standard, on time and to budget. You will manage risks and issues and will identify any barriers or resistance to change.

What you'll need to succeed
Your experience of managing multiple projects full cycle and proven ability to lead large scale engagement projects, supported by a commitment to or an understanding of the Christian faith, will lead to your success. You will have effectively managed budgets, costs and resources to ensure the delivery of services, and will have experience of project management tools, and data management systems, with knowledge of planning and monitoring techniques to include risk and issue management. You must be able to analyse, interpret and present data via reports, tables and graphs and will have good IT skills in the use of Microsoft Office.

You will be a respected and influential Project Manager who can build strong working relationships and establish credibility quickly with both internal and external stakeholders, whilst being able to promote good practice and deal with resistance to change. You must have a full driving licence (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010 which prevents you from driving) and access to independent means of travel, as you will be expected to travel to different sites across the West Midlands.
