Cloud Solutions Architect - Remote - £65k
My client are a growing MSP and are looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect to join them. This is a fully remote role with occasional travel to client sites
Position Overview
As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud solutions for our clients. Your expertise in Azure, VMware, Citrix, Fortinet, and other public and private cloud products and services is essential for delivering high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Essential Job Functions
- Design and architect cloud solutions using Azure, VMware, Citrix, Fortinet, and other public and private cloud platforms, tailored to our clients' business objectives and technical requirements.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their challenges and goals, and develop customized cloud solutions that address their specific needs.
- Lead the implementation and deployment of cloud solutions, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, sharing your knowledge and experience to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, evaluating new tools and services and making recommendations for adoption.
- Act as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and clients, providing expert advice and guidance on cloud architecture best practices and strategies.
Experience with the following will be required
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud solutions, with expertise in Azure, VMware, Citrix, Fortinet, and other public and private cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices, with hands-on experience in designing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud environments.
- Proficiency in cloud-native technologies such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, VMware Cloud Foundation, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Fortinet FortiGate, and other relevant platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
