Your new school
A vibrant, multicultural school based on the outskirts of the city centre is looking for three teaching assistants to join their large team.
They work in close partnership with parents, carers and the community to achieve their vision to enable all children to achieve. Their excellent team of teaching and support staff provide a high quality education for every child at the Academy, and they provide brilliant pastoral care too.
The Academy is part of a large Multi Academy Trust that supports and develops staff, encouraging people to take on additional training to further their careers.
They are a short bus ride out of the city centre, or they are accessible from most areas in Leeds by car and have ample car parking on site, or on nearby streets.
Your new role
The academy is looking for three Teaching Assistants to join the schools on a temporary or temporary to permanent basis.
They have vacancies across the school, so they are open to applications from people with experience working with any primary aged children.
You will be required to work from 8.30-3.15 Monday to Friday.
The roles are to start as soon as possible.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience working with children - this is ideally in a school/educational setting, but we are interested in hearing from people who have done sports coaching, brownies, guides, or other work with groups of primary-aged children
- Be able to provide two positive working references
- The ability to work as part of a team and be flexible with the needs of the school and class
