This is a multi-skilled role with an electrical bias working day shift. The role is responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment and services.
Duties
- React to breakdown situations, carry out fault finding activities and undertake the timely repair of equipment including PLC's, electric drives, robotics, pneumatics and screwdrivers.
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance activities on various plant and machinery.
- Report and feedback on breakdown causes, making recommendations on countermeasures
- Support equipment commissioning and installation projects across assembly and moulding factories
- Support the manufacture process of inhouse projects
- Strict adherence to safe working practices and observation of health and safety rules at all times
Required knowledge, skills or experience
- Knowledge of PLC's and Robots is advantageous but not essential. Relevant training will be provided where applicable
- Educated to ONC (or equivalent) in an Engineering related discipline
- Completed an approved multi-skilled apprenticeship
- Basic electrical competencies are required

Hours of work:
- Monday - Thursday 8am-4:30pm
- Friday 8am-2:30pm
- 2 Shift rotation:
- 6am-2pm
- 2pm-10pm
