Head of Product - SaaS, Tech, API,

Posted by Sanderson.

Head of Product / Lead Product Manager / Senior Product Manager - Perm - £80,000 - £85,000 - 1 day a week on site every 2 weeks.

Overview:

We're working with a really interesting Scale Up SaaS platform provider who are looking for a new Head of Product. You'll be working in a delivery capacity initially (first 8 - 12 months) and you'll then move into a strategic focussed role, establishing their 3 - 5 year product vision, helping them achieve their projected growth.

They currently have one product, but the idea is that you'll be establishing new product lines in the coming years. The vision and go to market strategy is currently established by the COO, in conjunction with CMO, who would both love for you to come in and take that off their hands. I will reiterate this won't be straight away, as you'll be focussing on delivery the first year or so.

We're looking for strong experience in a B2B OR B2C SaaS environment. You also must have worked at Product Lead level as a minimum requirement. Ideally someone that's worked closely with the development function, as they'll be bringing in some technical expertise in the next few months, so being able to speak understand their requirements would be perfect.

The role:

As Head of Product, you will play a key role in shaping and driving our product strategy and development. We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic thinker with a passion for creating innovative solutions that meet customer needs. Success in this role requires deep expertise in product management, customer insights, market trends, and business acumen, combined with the ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team.

Responsibilites

  • Developing and executing product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market plans to drive growth and revenue for our SaaS platform.
  • Shaping and managing product lifecycle processes, from defining product vision and roadmap to prioritisation, development, and launch.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, including design, delivery, customer success, support, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless product delivery and strong customer adoption.
  • Defining and tracking key product metrics, using data-driven insights to guide product decisions and iterate on features and functionality.
