School Cleaner
Location: Walthamstow
Working Hours: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Remedy are seeking a reliable and diligent School Cleaner to join a school and help maintain our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
As a School Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the school facilities. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and common areas
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Dusting and wiping down surfaces
- Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste
- Cleaning and sanitising restrooms
- Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and school policies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary
- A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff
