Sub Agent

I'm currently recruiting for a Sub Agent with structures and rail experience to work on HS2.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate structural works within designated project areas, including bridges, viaducts, tunnels, and other associated structures.
  2. Lead a team of engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and high-quality execution of structural activities.
  3. Implement and enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental practices, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  4. Monitor progress against project schedules and budgets, identifying and addressing any deviations or challenges promptly.
  5. Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and relevant authorities, to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
  6. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports.
  7. Provide technical expertise and support to resolve engineering issues and optimise construction methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) working in a similar role on large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably within the rail or transportation sector.
  • Valid PTS
  • In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles, materials, and construction techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes of practice, and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
