Up to £42,000 DOE

20 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Pension, Medical Insurance and other benefits

Monday - Friday: 37.5 hours per week

The Company:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer with experience of working within the Audio-Visual Industry ideally lighting. A Global Leader in Events Lighting and Technology providing a wide range of Lighting and Technology the Events Industry.

The Role:

The Field Service Engineer sits within the Technical Services Team who are an important and integral part of the company helping to provide a quality service to our wide range of clients. The Field Service Engineer is responsibleproviding quality technical support through the commission and servicing of all equipment, along with product training and customer issue resolution.

Key duties include:

  1. Supports products in all our other territories
  2. Provides phone and e-mail technical support and service
  3. Diagnoses technical problems accurately
  4. Ensures repairs are made within the time frame agreedwithin SLAs
  5. Informs customer of progress
  6. Completes follow-up documentation and log cases in the system
  7. Provides24-hourpager support on a rotating schedule
  8. Repairing faulty products that are sent back
  9. Work with testing, storing, organising, and dispatching demo and loaner equipment
  10. Provide trade show support
  11. Prepare equipment
  12. Provide technical coordination for trade shows
  13. Attend trade show and provide sales and service support
  14. Provide demos of equipment
  15. Energises systems at customer site
  16. Ensures timely arrival to customer site through Project Management, Technical Service Administration, and site contact
  17. Provides positive and effective supervision regarding equipment at job sites
  18. Evaluates projects on-site to ensure Field Service plan was followed
  19. Performs necessary adjustments to the plan and assures the adjustments are based on job information
  20. Ensures system meets customer requirements
