Full Stack C# Developer - Edinburgh/Glasgow/Aberdeen / Largely Remote
*Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen based - Minimum 1 day in one of their city centre offices per week, whichever is closest to you*
Lorien's client, a tech-loving organisation with expansion in their sights, is looking for a talented Full Stack C# Developer to join their team. Having released an incredibly successful internal product and with a trend for writing blank cheques for improvements to their tech function, they want another safe pair of hands on board who can help them design, create and improve their offerings and processes going forward.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Software Developer with skills across the Microsoft tech stack to come on board, get involved in exciting new projects, build on their skills and be a key contributor to ongoing discussions about the wider company's technical vision, ways of working and choice of technologies going forward.
What will you be working on?
- Designing, developing, testing, and supporting key software solutions from end to end
- Working with representatives at all levels including stakeholders to gather and fulfil requirements
- Use your knowledge of current tech trends to improve the function, stack and technical strategy
- Working with Dev Manager to not only develop new, reusable application frameworks but also improve the development function as a whole from both technical as well as process/approach perspectives
What you'll have done previously:
- Developed large scale applications with C#, ideally but not necessarily with .Net Core / Razor / MVC and JavaScript
- Honed skills across SQL Server, Azure DevOps, and preferably Entity Framework too
- Built and worked on web services and REST APIs
- Operated as part of an Agile development function
