Our Primary Alternative Provision caters to children with a range of special educational needs, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Duties:
1:1 Support: Work closely with students who require additional assistance. Your patient and empathetic approach will help them thrive in the classroom.
SEMH and ASD Focus: Specifically support children with SEMH and ASD. Your understanding of their unique needs will contribute to their progress.
Classroom Preparation: Help set up the learning environment, ensuring resources are readily available for effective teaching.
Desired:
Experience working with children with special educational needs (either in schools or other relevant settings).
Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
A commitment to promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for all students.
Working hours are Monday to Friday
8:30-3:30 (flexible for the right candidate)
