Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated experience of managing suppliers and stakeholders in the purchasing and delivery of raw materials to cost, schedule and quality.
  • Ownership of the purchasing of raw materials and general supplies; including negotiating prices, raising orders, chasing deliveries and processing refunds when goods are not meeting our standards.
  • Assessing stock requirements impact on available storage space and developing warehouse capacity plans to support logistics.
  • Translating demand forecasts into supply plans across short, medium and long term; and communicating demand plans to suppliers.
  • Analysing data to make purchasing decisions and plan improvements in delivery performance, as well as reducing inventory costs.
  • Liaising with freight carriers and negotiating rates and conditions regularly for the benefit of the company.
  • Supporting production planning with input on inventory levels and velocities.
  • Experience of setting up MRP products and parameters, developing and maintaining ABC classification and using stock control systems, databases, and fully conversant with Office PC applications.
  • Developing analysis of operational supply chain KPIs to drive performance.
  • Optimising warehouse functions by managing stock control/ planning and forecasting.

About You:

  • Experience working in e-commerce.
  • Strong awareness of buying and inventory management processes.
  • Strong awareness of Supply Chain management and operations.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Models, S&OP, capacity planning.
  • Knowledge of Bill of Materials, ABC Classification, Safety stock rules.
  • Supplier negotiation and relationship management.
  • Strong Excel and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience record of handling regular volume shipments of goods into the UK by sea, road and air.
  • Ability to deal with Brexit related challenges for UK/EU freight and fulfilment.
  • Strong problem solver, proactive and able to create solutions to challenges in an expedient manner.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, with a focus on supply chain management, inventory control, manufacturing, or materials management.
  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in inventory management.
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Management (SCM) software, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software.
  • Understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts and theories.
  • Experience leading process change through continuous improvement is a plus.

Location: North West London, Park Royal

Onsite- Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 8am- 4pm
