Embark on a transformative journey with P4 Recruitment's esteemed charity client, seeking a dedicated Recovery Coordinator to join their compassionate team. This pivotal role is a three-month contract with the flexibility to work on-site or remotely, offering a chance to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals navigating the challenges of drug and alcohol misuse.

Job Purpose
As a Recovery Coordinator, the selected candidate will be instrumental in crafting collaborative recovery plans and managing case loads. This position requires a person with a genuine passion for supporting individuals through every stage of their recovery journey, from initial assessment and engagement to achieving and maintaining sustained recovery.

The role entails:

1. Conducting triage/screening and comprehensive assessments with service users.
2. Collaborating with partner agencies for shared assessments and interventions, fostering progression towards self-sustained recovery.
3. Facilitating access to treatment and community resources, enhancing recovery and social capital.
4. Leading case management for service users, including risk assessments, management plans, and safeguarding assessments.
5. Working closely within a multi-disciplinary team, providing reports and information to managers and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will possess:

- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or a commitment to work towards this qualification.
- Exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Proficiency in establishing positive working relationships within the team and with external partners.
- Competence in using MS Office programs, including Word and Outlook.
- A comprehensive understanding of the complex needs of those with a history of problematic substance misuse.
