Your new company is a Tier One infrastructure contractor that, due to continued growth, the position of Project Manager has become available to join their successful team based in Southampton. As part of a nationwide framework agreement, they deliver a range of schemes to maintain and improve water supply and wastewater treatment works in the eastern half of its region (Kent & Sussex). Your new role requires a degree or HND in Civil Engineering, along with vocational training in Engineering. The candidate should understand engineering principles, have knowledge of construction contract law, and possess extensive technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices. They must champion sustainability, safety, health, and environmental considerations, prioritise personal safety and community well-being, demonstrate integrity, and maintain a customer-focused approach to delivering outstanding service by understanding and meeting customer needs. You
It will be site based, with the option of dynamic working.

What you will need to succeed in the role requires an individual experienced in managing large-scale projects in the UK, including civil, mechanical, and various infrastructure work. The candidate should lead by example, developing their team's skills and confidently engaging with stakeholders from diverse disciplines to ensure comprehensive commercial understanding. They must champion sustainability, safety, health, and environmental considerations, prioritising personal safety and community well-being. Integrity is essential, with a commitment to ethical conduct, and a customer-focused approach is crucial for delivering outstanding service by understanding and meeting customer needs.
